As the electrostatic force exceeds the critical surface tension of the polymer solution, it is jetted from the nozzle tip towards a collector.
During this journey, the polymer solution undergoes electrostatic repulsion, causing the fibers to split and elongate into the ultrafine realm, giving birth to nanofibers.
